Repertory Orchestra (RO) is specially designed for music-learners who obtain ABRSM Grade3-5 or equivalent level. Members not only can enhance their skills during weekly rehearsal, but they can also learn the importance of cooperation betweenvoices. Their sight-reading and aural skills can definitely be improved at thesame time.

The orchestra is conducted by Edmond Cheng, the conductor of Metropolitan Youth Orchestra of HongKong. With the assistance of experienced coaches, members can learn more easilyso to enjoy the fun of playing in ensemble.

Every year, we hold different activities to provide members more learning and performance opportunities. Except from musicality, we also emphasize oncultivating the caring soul of the members. Therefore members will become Music Angels to visit some charity organizations. Members can use their musicaltalents to serve the needy hands.

Cooperation between the orchestra and parents is the foundation of member’s improvement.  Thus the communication between two is really important. The orchestra will hold music lectures for parents regularly. With masters of classical music to be the speakers, parents can get tips of learning music as well as insights of guiding children to practice.
